There are no words that help to take the pain and loss away when a child leaves this world too soon. A sad journey is started by the family, but with the love and support of family and friends the time passes and the days lighten.

May each day bring special memories and love for your beautiful daughter

We would like to thank our family, friends, and everyone who provided us with support and kindness throughout our tragic time.  So many people showed us they care and how much that we are loved and thought of at this difficult time in our lives.  There were so many beautiful cards and plants that were sent to us.  Some people gave donations to the public library,  and school playground.  This meant so much because anyone who knew Katie knew she loved being outside, especially at the playground and she loved books.  So, this was a perfect gift.  HeavenSent Daycare had planted a tree in memory of Katie in front of their church.  What a special honor for my daughter.  We had also received a tree to plant ourselves as a memorial tribute to Katie, which we had planted in our front yard.  We have been working on an area in our front yard for a memorial garden with the tree included.    It does look nice, but we are continuing to build on this.  I will have pictures of it here as soon as I can.  To everyone that was here and continues to be here for us during this horrible time, again we thank you and could not get through this without any of you.  We love all of you and thank you for showing your love for our daughter Katelyn.
